SuperTalk will be super country
Since Thursday morning, SuperTalk FM 96 5, where I have co-hosted "City Talk Radio" since March, has been playing construction noises in anticipation, reportedly, of a change in formats.
Well, this morning I have received confirmation that the station is
going country and Western at noon today. That also means that "City
Talk Radio" has been officially canceled.
Michael Sweeney, who is the producer for "City Talk" and is one of the
hosts, informed me that the show will be on hiatus until Spring. He is
looking into other stations where we could have the show.
It's my first time ever being canceled, but seems to be a trend, at least for me, this season. The Cincinnati Post, as Randy pointed on this site a few days ago, will be closing at the end of this year.
Some good news, though, for me. I hope to be able to post more about that later today.
