Cincinnati's Original Home Page (TM)
From its earliest versions in 1995, Cincy.com / Cinci.com has been a simple community site about the Greater Cincinnati area. The core vision of CINCY.COM, even in the mid 90's, was that the power of the World Wide Web would be best used to improve communication and understanding between people, particularly within communities defined by culture, bioregions, interests and other common factors. The mission of Cincy.com is support a thriving community, by sharing its stories and connections. Since 2007, we've been working with a team of local writers, business veterans, photographers and other citizens of the tristate to craft cincy.com into a deep directory of community information. One of the projects born of that work is www.pgcincinnati.com, launching in 1st quarter 2009. PGCincinnati is created as a deep directory of local neighborhoods, including information about their schools, parks, churches, businesses and organizations, collecting the stories about all and sharing them in a way that helps us connect with each other and our public spaces. The cincy.com neighborhoods project provides the community data, neighborhood mapping, business directory and more, as an integrated project of Deeper Directories, a local information division of NetCrafters. You'll see the neighborhoods project bloom at both pgcincinnati.com and cincy.com in the first half of 2009, beginning with 20 communities in the tristate, from Northern KY to West Chester. We'll expand our focus from there, with information and mapping on over 100 area neighborhoods and villages. We invite you to be a part of it, and hope to have your input, as we explore the places and stories of our greater community.
There is no community without business and no business without community
If you have a plan, a skill and/or a desire to take part in the building of our community, or if you have a page, a business or other development need, we would love to hear from you.
